Been low keyed for awhile. Contemplating whether it was worth saying anything at all. Well people don't listen well or heed at all and so I thought what is the purpose of saying at all. A friend of mine said to me the other day in the park, as we walked, that we are nothing but cattle to those who seek wealth. He is right for in this world of ours the majority work for the few and their gain. Yes cattle we are and fools to boot. We elect people to serve us and in the end we serve them. Cattle we are. This thing those we elect call democracy is nothing but a tool they use to coral and shackle us with. The term democracy is a tool they use to con and reel us in. We are nothing but the bait they use to fish for what THEY want and let this be known - the bait never wins. Here in this country of mine they call it Canadian Democracy - what the f..k is that suppose to mean? Is democracy something to pick and choose? Call me what you want but I don't dig that, don't dig it at all. This world is about all of us and so let us be just that - all about us and ditch that all about me for all about me will lead us where...? We see and read, here about it everyday those who ( CEOs , Politicians etc.) who defend there positions - all about me - and try to make feel so hard done by they are. How long are we going to be fools to this"? Conned by those who say they serve? Rise up, rise up above that which is false and will lead to our end. We have the numbers to say and so let us say or find the bottom of a hole which you cannot get out of. There are the few who which to rule in this world, those all about them who seek control but it is us who give them this control in our apathy and our, "what can you do about it?" They know us and they play us and so it goes. And as Gary said to me in the park that day - we are but cattle to them. Are we? I am not , how about you? Gonna sit in a field chewing your cud not knowing when your day will come or knowing that your day will come and what did you do prior to? One can die for nothing, nothing at all or die for for something and so I write. Face the fire or burn. I will say anything I feel is right on my blog and there may be consequences but face them I will for ion truth and honesty I speak - know or see it I will say anyway. I stand in truth. I fear nothing because I do. I may pay or those who dispute may, matters not if then truth be known. Shoot me in the morning for what I say tonight - no matter for I have I have spoken the truth as I know it. I will stand by what I say. Can you?
I repeat - I was once told by someone I work with that they try not to lie. Did they think they were talking to a fool? But then again how people do not see in themselves what they do not see in others. Lie - well this person concocts them. How many times has she said to me - this is what we will tell them. I say what is wrong with the truth? I am not Adam and she is not Eve. I see the snake but I let it abide for the snake is not off me , maybe Eve , but not of me. Something I say here but not really of me to say for I know the day. Just saying, but who is understandin"?
Folks - it has been said that life is not a destination but a journey. It is so. Life is but to live and then to die. Fact. So what is it all about? I can give no answers here but that I I feel it is. Matter of opinion I suppose. Yes I do suppose for I do no know. Does anyone? One thing I do know, as fact, is that all that around us is and purpose known - science tells us so. The only question here is what purpose we humans hold. Take the equation of humans out of life out of the factor of life and purpose, reason and what do we have? We have a world in harmony and what it be. What is our purpose in being here then? We are but a cancer being here and destroying and devouring in the search for wealth and power - those things we cannot take with us. So, what is our purpose when we seek that which we cannot take with us when we go? I leave that question up to you to answer for it is in this this blog that I will find mine. Pay attention class! Ha!Ha!

I enjoyed our talk as well. We covered a lot of terrain when you stop to think about it. Had some laughs as well. Most important to have that as too.
I was at our other location for work today and got talking to a couple of the staff there. One has been there a long time and is a quality worker. He sees what needs to be done, and while he won't take abuse, doesn't see management as the "bad" guy all the time. The other one has been there for a while as well but started at my location and transferred over. She is a good worker and will go the extra when asked but usually there is a cost of some kind attached. She can be a bit of a s**t disturber and been known to take things out of context- whether purposely or not- I don't know. These two have a bit of history but do manage to "get it done" so to speak. Anyway, we got to talking about the system and the imbalance there is in the wealth distribution in the world- indeed, in the city. She was quoting how the CEO of the Toronto Hospital was the highest paid in the province getting a base salary of $500,000 per year. Then she went on to say how that was supplemented with a car and a car allowance etc. I said and we wonder what is wrong with this picture. Not only do those getting the highest wages also get the perks they can surely afford, they pad their salary with performance bonuses as well.
Last week the was a list posted of the executive of Toronto Hydro, I believe or at least one of the big power players up here. It listed the cars they all drove and of course there was a Lexus, a few BMW's a couple Mercedes and other high end vehicles. I read yesterday where these are leased for them and and of course they have an allowance. They also have other perks like golf memberships, gym memberships and other things the rest of us have to pay out of pocket for. Now get this,, a couple weeks ago these same people were soliciting the commission who sets the rates and passes or denies requests for increases. They were denied and immediately started on about a doomsday scenario where the aging infrastructure will not soon be able to handle the load and we will be subjected to brown or black outs, low power, etc. etc. Now, if the took a good hard look at themselves and shoveled some of their overpay and perks back into the corporation, maybe- just maybe they would be taken a bit more seriously. An aside is, to get rid of the CEO it would cost $1.27 Million to put him out to pasture. He would/could sue for wrongful dismissal. The world is going to hell in a hand basket.
Back to the two I was talking to today, it was agreed that something globally is happening and an awakening is taking place. People are starting to really get how unjust it all is. It may come quicker than we think.
